The General Secretariat of the ITI has published a statement on the situation in Ukraine.

The General Secretariat of the ITI has published a statement on the situation in Ukraine. Mohamed Saif Al-Afklam, President of the International Theatre Institute, and Tobias Biancone, Director, in this "Letter to the Members and Friends of the ITI" express their solidarity with the people suffering from the war. They fervently hope "for a ceasefire" and wish "that the governments, the artists and the people establish a respectful dialogue to resolve the situation." The International Theatre Institute, they say, "must once again serve as a beacon of peace and unity for its members, the performing arts and the world as a whole."
