Twice a year, individual artists or collective groups of up to 5 artists from the fields of dance, performing arts and performance art (also interdisciplinary) who are at the beginning of their professional career can apply for the residency programme, which enables a two-week working stay in the studio.
Together with the Media Library for Dance and Theatre, STUDIO2 acts as a space for discourse, meeting place and laboratory for the Archive and Practice field at the German Centre of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) and offers the opportunity to research and formulate questions at the interface of artistic movement practice and the archival preservation of these processes.
