The International Theatre Institute is a non-profit association that acts as an interest group and information centre for the performing arts in inter- and transnational contexts.
Members of the ITI - German Centre are personal and corporate members (associations and organizations).
Honorary member of the ITI - German Centre is Manfred Beilharz, for many years president of the German Centre and from 2002 to 2008 president of the ITI World Organisation. Other honorary members are Carl Ebert, Kurt Raeck, Friedrich Schultze, Ivan Nagel, Kurt Hübner.
President of the ITI - German Centre is Yvonne Büdenhölzer, Director Theatertreffen and designated Director of Suhrkamp Theater Verlag. In addition to the president and the two vice-presidents, who represent the association in external affairs, the board consists of six to nine assessors, elected for two years at a time.
The office is located in the Art Center Kunstquartier Bethanien in Berlin.
Director of the ITI - German Centre is Dr Thomas Engel.
