The Berlin Round Table of Theatre Archives is a forum for political and cultural exchange aimed at networking and raising awareness of Berlin's theatrical heritage. Since 2011, the Berlin Round Table of Theatre Archives has been working as an informal alliance of institutions with theatre collections, as well as theatres and artists in Berlin who are committed to documenting their work. The diversity of the institutions and associations represented in the Berlin Round Table of Theatre Archives reflects the diversity of Berlin's theatre landscape and its history. With more than 25 active institutions and a network of more than 50 contributors, the Round Table provides a broad overview of Berlin's theatre landscape.
With its new digital presence, the Round Table provides an insight into the collections of the participating institutions and facilitates contact. It also offers the opportunity to find out about the activities of the Round Table and to learn more about Berlin's theatrical cultural heritage.
