The Monthly Meet-Up is a series of events for transnational artists who are new to Berlin and looking for support with administrative issues and networking in the local and international scene.
The Monthly Meet-Up on 21.02 from 17:00-18:30 will deal with the topic of collecting societies (Verwertungsgesellschaften). Collecting societies are membership organizations for creators of original/creative content whose goal is to represent their members, enable the use of their works by granting licenses, collect the corresponding fees, and distribute them to their members in the form of royalties. In Germany, there are a large number of collecting societies for various art forms, for authors and also for performers. For more infos, please visit touring artists' website.
