Jon Fosse's message for World Theatre Day on March 27, 2024, is one of peace and diversity. Art celebrates the unique in the universal, it understands differences as strengths and at the same time blurs the boundaries of what seems to make us different. It thus stands in contrast to war, the aim of which is to combat everything that is different and foreign. "Art is peace," resumes Fosse in his message.
