This year's message author for World Dance Day, which will be celebrated worldwide next Saturday, 29 April, is the Chinese dancer and choreographer Yang Liping.
With her message, the award-winning dancer invites all dancers and choreographers worldwide to strengthen the connection and dialogue with the earth and nature through dance and thus honour "humanity’s most instinctive form of communication".
