“Another. Fucking. Solo.” explores the struggle to accept or transform in the face of meaninglessness. The piece produces a veritable archive that examines the distinction between fantasy and imagination and a paradoxical longing to both experience and tame the exquisite. The dance that transpires is a duet between patience and hunger. How much of sharing is really the act of (self) preservation?

AMI GARMON, American, lives and works in Berlin and France. In collaboration with visual and sound artists she creates performance installations, which generate an intense emotional and poetic atmosphere for her texts, her voice and dance. The premiere of her last solo "Take me home with you" was at the festival Uzes Danse France and the Tanznacht Berlin. Ami Garmon was member of the improv ensemble of Jeremy Wade and Meg Stuart at the Festival Politics of Ecstasy at HAU Berlin.
