Not only has Julien gone through all his own money, but also the savings of his friend Jacques, who wonders why his friend from an affluent family doesn‘t simply ask his parents for help. One realizes how difficult it is having a friend from a different social sphere. How relevant is the „survival of the fittest“ theory today?  

VICKY KRIEPS, born in 1983, studied acting in Zurich and worked as an actress mainly in Switzerland and Luxemburg. Darwin’s heir is her director’s debut.


EVELYNE DE LA CHENELIÈRE, born 1975 in Montreal, studied literature and acting in Paris. She writes plays for the stage and radio as well as performs on stage. In 2000 her debut theater piece “Strawberries in January” was named the year’s best play by Académie québécoise du Theatre.

A co-production with Théâtre National du Luxembourg by Evelyne de la Chenelière.
