alex1929. Franz Biberkopf wird aus der Haftanstalt Tegel entlassen und kann nur schwer in ein normales Leben zurückkehren. 2009. Das Projekt von Volker Lösch untersucht diese Geschichte mit einem Ensemble von Schauspielern und einem Chor aus realen »Biberköpfen«, die von ihren Hafterfahrungen erzählen. 

VOLKER LÖSCH arbeitete u. a. in Düsseldorf, Graz, Hamburg, Leipzig und Zürich. Seit 2005 ist er Hausregisseur und Mitglied der künstlerischen Leitung am Schauspiel Stuttgart. Seine Inszenierung »Marat, was ist aus unserer Revolution geworden« am Schauspielhaus Hamburg war zum Theatertreffen 2009 eingeladen. »Berlin Alexanderplatz« ist seine erste Arbeit in Berlin.
